Citizens National Bank  is collecting items for the Bluffton Food Pantry now until Wednesday, Oct. 3.

items accepted include: canned meats, peanut butter, fruits, raviolis and spaghetti o's, spaghetti and other pastas, pasta sauces, soups and specialty items such as crackers and cookies.

Donations may be made at the CNB lobby.

The First National Bank, Bluffton Branch, ATM at 112 Cherry Street will be upgraded on Wednesday, Sept. 26, and the Pandora Branch ATM at 102 East Main Street, will be upgraded on Thursday, Sept. 27. 

These equipment upgrades are to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and will cause these ATMs to be temporarily out of service.

McDonald’s Restaurant owner, Jerry Lewis, will present over $9,900 to 29 local teachers from 19 different school districts effecting more than 1,300 area students in just one school year. The check presentation and winner’s reception will be held at the N. West Street McDonald’s Restaurant in Lima at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 20.

Since the MAC Grant program began in 2004, Jerry Lewis’ McDonald’s Restaurants have given more than $134,000 to more than 360 local teachers.

Today, McDonald’s announced that the company will list calorie information on restaurant and drive-thru menus nationwide, including Ohio, to further inform and help customers and employees make nutrition-minded choices.

The Dough Hook, 117 N. Main St., Bluffton is offering a "family meat package," according to Sharon and John Calvelage.

The package, for $50 includes:

• 12 hamburger patties
• 4 fresh sausage links
