The 2011 season of the Bluffton farmer's market begins on Saturday, May 7, in the Citizens National Bank parking lot, according to Peter Previte, market coordinator. Look for more information on The Icon next week about opening day information.

On April 25 Bluffton council received a copy of the Allen Economic Development Group's (AEDG) year end report of activities for 2010.

Krysti's Music Studio, Bluffton, is The Icon's newest advertiser. The Studio owner is Krysti (Groman) Schey. She is a pianist, composer, teacher.

She is a Bluffton High School graduate. She received a master's of music in piano performance/piano pedagogy from Bowling Green State University in 2010. As a graduate assistant at BGSU, she taught class piano. Schey obtained her bachelor's degree in music with concentrations in piano performance, piano pedagogy and music business from Bluffton University.
