Bluffton Hospital does it again! - Very high patient satisfaction

Bluffton Hospital has received high scores in the latest Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient satisfaction survey.

The most recent HCAHPS survey results show that 87 percent of responding patients gave Bluffton Hospital an overall rating of '9' or '10' (on a scale where '0' was the lowest score and '10' was the highest).
This compares to 68 percent statewide and 67 percent nationally.

Play ball - Beavers launch 2011 baseball season

The Bluffton University baseball team opened its 2011 campaign with an 8-4 victory over Case Reserve at the Chillicothe VA Memorial Field on a cool Saturday, February 26, 2011.

The Beavers used a six-run sixth to punish the Spartans in the opener. Wabash College took advantage of timely hitting and outstanding pitching to shut out Bluffton in the Beavers' second game of the season.

Maurice "Doc" Criblez 1915-2011

Maurice "Doc" Grant Criblez, 96 of Bluffton died at 11:07 Feb. 25, 2011, at Lima Memorial Health System Emergency Center.

He was born Feb. 25, 1915, in Bluffton to Alfred and Adel (Grant) Criblez. On Feb. 15, 1942 he married Mildred Parker Criblez and she survives.
