True story: These two guys walk into an arts and crafts show...

You never heard this one...these two guys walk into an outdoor arts and crafts show.

Actually, the very day before the Bluffton arts and crafts show, the director of the chamber gets a frantic e-mail. It's from a crafter who says that she's never received confirmation of her registration in the "Bluffton" arts and crafts show.

The chamber director looks through all the registrations and can't find the person's information. He calls the crafts show director. Same thing. No information.

What I learned from my mama

By Mary Pannabecker Steiner
So...Sunday was Mother's Day. I don't remember much about Mother's Day when I was little. I don't think we ever fixed her breakfast in bed or took her out for dinner. The truth is, she probably cooked for us on those days, but I could be wrong. You'd have to ask her.

In fact, I'm pretty sure that most of us don't come to really appreciate our moms until later in life when we finally realize what all they taught us.

Hey bicycle riders. Interested in a "group ride"? According to Raymond and Liz Harner of CG Pro Bikes, Columbus Grove, two group rides are planned next week.

Here's the plan:

Monday, May 14, at 6 p.m. the group ride departs from the CG Pro Bikes parking lot, and all are welcome. All ages and skill levels. These are 'No Drop' rides, meaning no one gets left behind. The group generally stays in a pack.

And on Thursday, May 17, at 6 p.m. the group ride from the bike shop will be a "ladies only" ride.
