Maeola McClain-Fett funeral arrangements

M. Maeola McClain–Fett, age 89, of Bluffton, Ohio, and formerly of Upper Sandusky, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 2:45 a.m. at the Independence House of Fostoria.

Maeola was born on February 18, 1933 in Marseilles Township, Wyandot County to Lawrence and Edna (Carothers) Arnold.  She married Charles McClain on October 17, 1952 and he passed away on April 3, 1984. Maeola then married Maurice “Morris” Fett on June 14, 1997 and he passed away on October 14, 2009.

Raymond Messenger memorial service to be announced later

Raymond Messenger, 67, of Bluffton passed away April 12, 2022 at his residence. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.

Sam Reichenbach served in the U.S. Air Force

Sam Herbert Reichenbach, 77, passed away April 12, 2022 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. Sam was born August 8, 1944 in Bluffton to the late Herbert and Dorothy (Agner) Reichenbach. On February 17, 1968 he married Diana Mathewson Reichenbach who survives.

Ronald Reese served in the U.S. Army Reserves

Ronald "Ron" J. Reese, 72, passed away on April 8, 2022, at 11:44 am, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, surrounded by his loving family.

Ron was born December 21, 1949 in Bluffton, OH, to the late Lehr and Evelyn (Moyer) Reese who survives in Pandora, OH. On September 16, 1972 he married Joan (Schaublin) Reese who survives in Mt. Cory, OH.

Sally Reeder taught at Bluffton College

Sally Jeanne (Hogan King) Reeder, 90, died April 7, 2022 in her residence at The Springs of Lima, OH.

She was born April 30, 1931, in Waltham, Massachusetts, to Edgar Jay and Jeannette (McGarrity) Hogan. The family moved frequently during her childhood, living in Ohio, Pennsylvania, California, New York, Maryland, and Florida, all before her graduation from Rayen High School in Youngstown.

Dudley MacDonald worked for Lima Ford Engine Plant

Dudley MacDonald, 68, passed away April 4, 2022, at his home. 

Dudley was born March 28, 1954 in Wayne County, MI, to Douglas and Joanne (Clutinger) MacDonald. 

He was a graduate of Elida High School and retired from Lima Ford Engine Plant after 35 years of dedication.  

He was a member of the Indian Lake Yacht Club and was an Eagle Scout. He enjoyed sailing, fishing, flying and hunting. He loved to fly RC planes, scuba dive, and spear fish. He adored all animals.
