Have you ever wondered about the life of a cartoonist?

On July 10, elders at Maple Crest were delighted to discover all sorts of unique tidbits about famous cartoonists down through the ages from a dynamic (and very funny) modern-day cartoonist, Duane Abel of the Corkey Comics Co.

Abel became the youngest syndicated cartoonist in the world at age 15 and is best known for his main character, Zed – a pink, fluffy, walking, talking dryer lint.

Bluffton is alive and well and living underwater - at least some teenage residents dwell there. Here's two photos of the older members of the Bluffton swim team. One version is underway - a first for The Icon (no, we didn't take photo). The other version is the standard, on land photo.

ENS Benroth successfully completed four years of academic, physical, and professional training, resulting in a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on energy and propulsion.
