Here’s our final interview with Bluffton third graders for the 2012-13 school year. We talked with Jonah Brown (Mrs. Kingsley’s class), James Buxton (Armstrong), Micah Minnig (Raeburn), and Ian Reed (Bogart).
What’s your favorite subject?
Jonah: Math. I like it. James: Math. I like to play with a whole bunch of numbers. Micah: Lunch. I like to eat food. Ian: Gym. I like to work out.
Richland Manor, a Trilogy Health Services community, has been named one of the 2013 Best Employers in Ohio (BEO), according to Sarah Foster, Executive Director of Richland Manor.
The annual list of the Best Employers in Ohio was created by the Ohio SHRM State Council and Best Companies Group.
Meagan Giblin, a Miller City High School senior, is the 2013 winner of the Barbara Fleming Memorial Scholarship sponsored by Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, Bluffton and Pandora (MHCO).
Giblin is the daughter of Michael and Becky Giblin. This annual award of $500 provides scholarship support to an individual pursuing a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Registered Nurse or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Stephen Tatarkov, Bluffton High School junior, is the April BHS student of the month. At Bluffton he is a member of the high school math club. He has a 4.0 grade point average.
He participates on an indoor soccer team. He is a three-year letterman for soccer and a two-year letterman for track. He received the All-District and All-Ohio award in soccer. He was the Honda Mathematics Gold Medal Award Winner.
Apollo Career Center student Gabe Cozadd will be traveling to Kansas City for his performance in the state SkillsUSA competition.
Cozadd, an Automated Manufacturing Technology junior from Bluffton, won first place and received a gold medal in CNC Milling and qualified for the National SkillsUSA competition held June 23-29, in Kansas City, Missouri.
