Joyce Suter and Scott Gleason tied as winners of the final regular season Icon high school weekly football contest. Andy Borgelt was eliminated in tie-breaker.

Well, I play many instruments, though I don't play all of them very well. Guitar is definitely my primary instrument. I also play a bit of mandolin and banjo. Back at Bluffton High School, I was quite an adept trumpeter, but my chops aren't nearly what they used to be. I've started to learn to play the drums recently; it is really fun to hit things and call it music.

Nash White, son of Chris and Paula White, Bluffton attends St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora, and plays soccer on a U-12 team.
Karis Wilson, daughter of Ken and Colleen Wilson, Jenera, plays in the middle school band and choir, is a member of the quiz bowl team, plays volleyball, basketball and is a Bucs cheerleader. She is in 4-H , attends Zion Lutheran Church and is in swim team and gymnastics.

The Bluffton Scouts had an Indian Village display at Suter's Corn Maze. This year's maze theme is "American Indians." The Scouts demonstrated Indian games to the children and discussed the Indian heritage of the Deer Creek/Riley Creek area.
The Indians were Eastern Woodlands, which were represented by Ottawa, Wyandot, Shawnee and Delaware Indians of the mid-1700s to early 1800s.
