The Hardin County Sheriff’s office is currently investigating a multiple vehicle crash that occurred at 8:04 a.m. at County Road 110 and Township Road 205 in Goshen Township of Hardin County.
A southbound vehicle on Township Road 205 occupied by five juveniles failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck by a vehicle headed eastbound on County Road 110.
Three of the five juveniles were lifeflighted to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo with life-threatening injuries.
As summer winds down, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office is ramping up its enforcement efforts as part of a national crackdown on drunk driving.
Sgt. Matt Kinsinger said, “We are again partnering with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to stop drunk drivers and help save lives.”
The national enforcement campaign, Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over, runs from Aug. 16 through Sept. 4 (Labor Day).
Bluffton, Columbus Grove and Allen County Sheriff's Department responded to a farm fire call at 8530 Columbus Grove Road at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The farm is just west of Ebenezer Mennonite Church.
Bluffton received the 911 call and through mutual aid requested assistance from Columbus Grove's department.
No flames or smoke were evident from Grove Road and it appears that fire personnel focused on a barn on the property.
Bluffton police had 477 calls for service in July with 31 reportable offenses and two traffic accidents, according to Tyler Hochstetler, Bluffton police sergeant. The July report follows:

Police arrested Amy J. Muniz, 41, Bluffton, for OVI following a traffic stop in the area of Cherry Street and Railroad Street. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
Police responded to a Railroad Street residence in reference to a fight complaint.
FROM THE ALLEN COUNTY SHERIFF - The Allen County Sheriff’s Office has an open investigation regarding a scam that occurred in Beaverdam.
The victim reported she was contacted by someone using the phone number 202-455-5956 who claimed to be from the Legal Affairs Department and accused her of tax fraud.
The victim reported she told the caller she had not received any paperwork regarding this. A short time later and while still speaking with the man on the phone there was a knock on her door.
