Bluffton Schools submit 5-year financial forecast

The Bluffton Exempted Village School District has submitted a five-year financial forecast to the Ohio Department of Education as approved by the board of education in November 2021 (full report at Ohio Board of Education).

The report includes both data and notes providing the assumptions used for financial projections including revenue, expenditures and changes in fund balances for 2019-2026.

Village meetings announced for December 13 and 15

The following meetings have been announced by the Village of Bluffton. The meetings will be held at the Bluffton Town Hall, unless noted. Please contact Jesse Blackburn at [email protected] for the Zoom link.

Personnel, Safety Services, and Finance Joint Committee – Monday, December 13 at 6:00 p.m.

Village Council – Monday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m.

Ordinance Committee – Wednesday, December 15 at noon, via Zoom.

Joint committee meeting announced by Village of Bluffton

The Village of Bluffton will hold a joint committee meeting of Personnel, Safety Services and Finance on Dec. 1, 2021 at noon on the third floor of the Town Hall.

Council advanced four pieces of legislation, all dealing with financial matters.

November 2021 school board report

The Bluffton Exempted Village Schools Board of Education held its November regular meeting on Monday, November 15 in the Elementary Media Center, 102 S. Jackson. All board members were present for the approximately 35 minute meeting.

The board approved the minutes of the October 18, 2021 meeting (also attached below).
