Bluffton is among stops in Cambridge, Zanesville, Gallipolis, Hamilton, Middletown, Troy, Columbus, Hebron, Delaware, Marion, Upper Sandusky and Fremont.

Bluffton’s Blaze of Lights is one of 16 stops on the 2020 Ohio driveable holiday lights trail promoted by TourismOhio, according to Paula Scott, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce CEO.

"We have very prominent placement and a direct link to the chamber web page in the lights trail promotion," she added.

The Bluffton Senior Center is canceling all planned actives for the week of December 7, according to Tonya Meyer, director.

This includes exercise class, line dance class, jam session and dominos.

The Senior Center will still be open for shopping and members to pick up library materials and other one on one services.

"Hopefully, activities can be offered again soon but we will be making decisions on a week by week basis. The governor has asked everyone to stay home except for necessities," said Meyer.

House Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima), said, “The Ohio House has taken a significant step forward in replacing Ohio’s broken school funding formula with a new, workable framework that is appropriate to meeting the cost of a quality education for all students.”

November 2020 was warmer than previous Novembers

The area experienced 3.6 inches of snow on Nov. 30 for the first snowfall of the season, according to Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer.

And, in case you wonder, November was warmer than most Novembers.

Verhoff reports that the average temperature in November 2020 was 45.8 degrees. That’s 4.3 degrees warmer than the normal November average temperature of 41.5 degrees.

The November 2020 high temperature was 78 degrees recorded on Nov. 8 and Nov. 9. The low reading was 20 degrees on Nov. 14.
