Bluffton schools announced a 2-hour delay for Friday morning. The announcement was made on Ohio Alerts at 9:12 p.m.

Bluffton schools cancelled - Thursday, Feb. 6

Tonight's community meal cancelled

Bluffton schools are closed today (Thursday, Feb. 6) due to the icy weather conditions. The announcement was made on Ohio Alerts earlier this morning.

• The Thursday, Feb. 6, community meal at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center is cancelled, according to Tonya Meyer.

Bluffton schools on 2-hour delay for Thursday AM

Blame it on the "wintery-mix" outside.

At 8:23 p.m. tonight Greg Denecker, Bluffton schools superintendent, announced a two-hour delay for Bluffton on Thursday, Feb. 6.

2019 village building permits reached $2.4 million

52 permits included 4 residential, 11 commercial/industrial, 2 demolitions, 35 other projects

2019 building permits posted at bottom of story -

Bluffton’s 2019 building permits totaled $2.4 million, according to information provided to the Icon by the Village of Bluffton.

The 52 building permits totaled $2,429,713, breaking down in the following categories:
• $1,153,000 – residential (4 projects)
• $796,281 – commercial/industrial (11 projects)
• $17,000 – demolitions (2 projects)
• $464,432 – other (35 projects)
