BFR has a summer of activities for you!

Anyone who thinks that there's nothing to do in Bluffton this summer hasn't checked the BFR summer program offerings. You'll find everything from a family fun day with the Toledo Mudhens to soccer camps and summer personal training special offers.

Summer hours begin on May 26. Extended fitness center hours are Mondays and Wednesdays one hour after closing.

Pandora United Methodist hosts May 30 community meal

The Pandora United Methodist Church will host a free community meal on Wednesday, May 30, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington St., Pandora. The meal this month is chicken sandwich, potato salad, chips, brownies, coffee and punch.

Pandora United Methodist rummage sale for missions June 7-9

The Pandora United Methodist Church will hold a June rummage sale with proceeds going for missions.

The sale is Thursday, June 7, and Friday, June 8, from 8:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. and on Saturday June 9, from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. All proceeds will go toward mission projects for the year.

June 7 next Bluffton blood drive - at St. Mary's Church

Bluffton's next American Red Cross blood drive is from noon to 6 p.m., Thursday, June 7, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

All blood donors in will be entered into a region-wide monthly drawing for a $500 gasoline gift card.

Click it or ticket it underway in Bluffton

Bluffton police are participating in a nationwide "Click It or Ticket" to boost seat belt use this month.

Motorists who refuse to wear their seat belts - beware. The 2012 national Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement mobilization kicks off May 21 to help save lives by cracking down on those who don't buckle up.

Bluffton Police Department is joining with other state and local law enforcement officers and highway safety advocates across the country to help save more lives by strongly enforcing seat belt laws around the clock.
