April Relay for Life meetings April 12

April's Relay For Life meetings are scheduled. The meetings are Thursday, April 12 in the back room of Common Grounds coffee house. Committee members meet at 6 p.m. and teams at 7 p.m.

News flash: March was warmer than normal - by 15. 3 degrees. Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer, reports the following stats for the month.

March 2012 precipitation 2.25 inches

March 2012 snow .05 inches

Normal average March precipitation 2.71 inches

March 2012 average temperature 52.8

Normal average March temperature 37.5

High temperature was 86 on March 21

Low temperature was 21 on March 10

Precipitation was recorded on 10 days in March

Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Bluffton April 14

The Lima-area Habitat for Humanity ReStore is coming to Blufftonfor a pick up.

ReStore volunteers will be in Bluffton at the Citizens National Bank parking lot from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, collecting donations of gently used home improvement materials, appliances and furniture.

Multile Sclerosis Group to hear optometrist at April 11 meeting

Dr. Darrell Groman is the guest speaker at the 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, meeting of Friends Helping Friends, the Bluffton area group for those with Multiple Sclerosis. The meeting will be held in the third floor of the town hall.

The group meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. It is open to all those with MS and their friends who wish to learn more about the disease. It covers parts of Allen, Putnam and Hardin counties

Relay raffle offers several outstanding prizes

Tickets are available from several Bluffton businesses and members of a Bluffton Relay for Life team for a Bluffton's Relay for Life raffle.

Prizes include:

o Create your own weekend getaway, a $500 value, provided by Bluffton Travel Agency and Great Connections Logistics, Inc.

o Six months of tanning or skin rejuvenation, a $350 value, provided by Polished Nail and Body Salon.

oFlower arrangement of the month club, a $420 value, provided by Panache Floral and Interiors.

Tickets are $5 each or three for $10.
