BLUFFTON __ Celebrating their 50th season in style, the host Bluffton Sardines summer swim team captured all three team titles at the two-day West Ohio Aquatic League championship meet Friday and Saturday, July 12-13, at the Bluffton Community Pool.
The Sardines led almost from start to finish in the combined and boys team races en route to sweeping all three team crowns.
Bluffton overcame a slight Westside lead in the girls standings after day one to win comfortably and commemorate the 50th anniversary in dominating fashion.
Westside finished second to the Sardines in all three divisions, while Wapakoneta ended up a solid third in all three standings.
Wapak finished just 11.5 points behind Westside in the final girls team standings.
Bluffton standout Jackson Bowlus touched first in four individual races in the boys 15 and over division to pace the hosts to the championship.
