Register now for annual Bach's Lunch at Bluffton University

Bluffton University's annual Bach's Lunch will be held at noon on Friday, March 26, in the Gilliom Room of Mosiman Hall.

Bluffton University Students will perform a variety of musical selections. This program is open to the public. Individuals are welcome to bring their own lunch or purchase a box lunch for $6.50.

Box lunches must be pre-ordered by March 19. Contact the music department at [email protected] or 419-358-3347 to make reservations.

Bluffton eighth grader Abbey Heslep created this black and white "modern" art piece this school year. It is one of several works by Bluffton art students on display this month in the Bluffton Public Library.

Bluffton Boy Scouts celebrate cenetennial, hold Court of Honor

After two snow storm - related postponements, Bluffton Boy Scout Troop #256 held their Court of Honor on Tuesday, February 23rd at 8:00 P.M. The troop, family and friends packed the third floor council chambers at the Town Hall for the 8 o'clock ceremony.

So begins Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters, a book that, like its predecessor Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, takes a classic tale of romance and adds to it the element of monsters.

Middle school students earn several honors at science and engineering fair

On March 6, seven Bluffton Middle School students competed at the Northwest Ohio Science and Engineering Fair in Archbold, Ohio. The seven students are Courtney Barnett, Jonah Bourassa, Josh Bracy, Landon Cluts, Andrew Hoff, Audrey Marshall and Samantha Rhonemus.

There were 107 students representing northwest Ohio competing for awards in numerous categories and from a variety of sponsors.

"All of these students put many, many hours into their projects and several were recipients of cash and prizes,"according to Scott Hoff.
