PHOTO Who can do a toe touch jump?

Did they double dare you? The Bluffton Buccanner yearbook staff challenged athletes and teachers to do toe touch jumps in a Facebook video seen HERE. Thirteen teams and three teachers were great sports and took on the challenge.

Francis Paul Misch passed away 2/26/2024 at the age of 76 

We were married for 38 years. Bluffton, thank for your love, kindness, and support for the last two years where we have been living with my step daughter’s family.

Three new CASA volunteers sworn in

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA®) of Allen and Putnam Counties, Ohio held a Volunteer Swearing-In Ceremony on Thursday, February 22 at the Allen County Juvenile Court. Three new CASA volunteers were sworn in as officers of the court by Allen County Juvenile Court Judge Todd Kohlrieser.    

CASA, a program  of Crime Victim Services, trains community volunteers to act as Guardians ad Litem for children who are in the juvenile court system due to dependency, neglect, or abuse.

Registration open for U6 soccer

Spring U6 soccer is around the corner at Bluffton Family YMCA. Play will be from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting April 2 and ending May 2. The program is open to all children ages 4-6.

Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month kicks off in Allen County

March 1 is the start of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month! The Allen County Board of Development Disabilities will be celebrating all month long with the theme "Look how far we've come...let's take the next step" and hashtag #accessibleallencounty.
