Four projects this week at Bluffton Hospital

Four major projects are on the work schedule this week at the Bluffton Hospital. Those projects include:

  • Working on construction footers in the operating room
  • Installing the inner door at the Emergency Department temporary entrance
  • Prepping and starting on curb in the new parking lot
  • Clinical equipment coordination meetings are underway

Through the legs

Jess Hunter, a member of the Bluffton High School girls' varsity tennis team, tosses a tennis ball through the legs three elementary students during the Midwest Youth Team Tennis camp going on at Howe Tennis Courts this week. The camp is sponsored by the Bluffton Area Tennis Association.

The sun is warm, the breeze is cool, the harbor is calm, and all's well at Woods Hole, Massachusetts. I've been here for nearly three weeks now, so maybe I have enough of a feeling about the place to pass some of my observations on to you.

College Avenue resident gets new lease on life

Hail, hail, the gang's all here. Or so goes the Bluffton High School Fight Song. Harmon Field Stadium is have a new lease on its 70-plus year life this summer. The stadium is being renovated in preparation for the 2010 football season. The project is part of the school's permanent improvement funds.

Two more VBS planned in the community
