One fatal traffic crash reported in Allen County for October 2023

LIMA__The Lima-Allen County Safe Community Coalition reports there was one fatal traffic crash on Allen County roadways during October 2023.

Thus far, there have been a total of 8 fatalities on Allen County roadways due to traffic crashes in 2023. In comparison, during 2022 there were 12 fatal crash through October.

Heating assistance reminder for low income Ohioans

The Ohio Department of Development and Area Agency on Aging 3 want to remind Ohioans assistance is available to help with their home energy bills. The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) helps Ohioans at or below 175% of the federal poverty guidelines pay their heating bills.

Regional football championship tickets, video and audio streaming

NOTE: Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

The 7:00 p.m. November 17 Regional football championship game featuring the Bluffton High School Pirates vs the Columbus Grove Bulldogs will take place at Findlay’s Donnell Stadium.

Tickets are available online at www.ohsaa.org/tickets and at the gate, Adult $12 and Student $9.

BVHS receives Level 7 achievement in ‘Most Wired’ survey

Blanchard Valley Health System has received Level 7 achievement for the 2023 Acute survey selection in Digital Health Most Wired Survey results from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). Awards are rated from levels 7-10.
