Bluffton University Theatre presents 26 Pebbles, drama based on Sandy Hook shooting

7:30 p.m. Nov. 14-16 and 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 17 in Ramseyer Auditorium, College Hall.

Bluffton University Theatre has announced the following cast list for its fall play “26 Pebbles” by Eric Ulloa.

Essinger unveils new novel at Findlay book reading

7:00 p.m. on October 21, Gardner Fine Arts Pavillion on University of Findlay campus

Bluffton author Dave Essinger has published a second novel, This World and the Next, now available from Main Street Rag Publishing Company. A reading and book signing are scheduled for October 21 in Findlay.

BVHS celebrates five years with Mayo Clinic Care Network

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) is celebrating its five-year anniversary as a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network. Through this clinical collaboration, the organization’s providers get special access to Mayo Clinic resources, knowledge, and teams of specialists.

BVHS was the first Ohio-based healthcare facility to join the Mayo Clinic Care Network, a group of carefully vetted, independent healthcare systems that have special access to Mayo Clinic's knowledge and expertise.

Lima Allen County Regional Planning featured at October BACC meeting

UPDATE Twisted Whisk Cafe to cater this breakfast.

The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly breakfast meeting on Friday, October 11.The meeting is held on the third floor of the Town Hall, 154 N. Main St.

Bluffton University is the breakfast sponsor and Twisted Whisk Cafe is the caterer. Breakfast will be served at 7 a.m. and the program begins at 7:30 a.m.

The progrm will be a presentation by the Lima Allen County Regional Planning Commission. Cody Doyle and Liwen Kang will explain the role of the Commission and the services they offer.

Crispyjo restaurant announces closure

In a Facebook announcement on Saturday, October 5, Crispyjo restaurant anounced that it is permanently closed.

The restaurant opened at 415 State Route 103, Bluffton in February 2024.
