This plate is one of Bluffton's longest-running speciality license plates. If we didn't know better we'd think CH stands for Charles Hankish. We spotted it in the St. Mary's parking lot.

Emmanuel UCC hosts next community meal

Two community meals are planned in March by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association. Both meals are open to the public and are held at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, 132 N. Main St. The meals begin at 6 p.m. Donates support the Bluffton Community Assistance Program's food pantry.

  • Thursday, March 18 - catered by Ebenezer Mennonite Church

Next library book discussion March 3 at Common Grounds

It's not too late to join the early March book discussion at Common Grounds. Read "Teach with Your Heart," by Erin Gruwell and join community members for a friendly, informal discussion at Common Grounds in Bluffton at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 3. Advance registration is requested.

Bluffton Diamond Sports sign-up starts Saturday

Spring and summer baseball and softball sign-ups for Bluffton Diamond Sports are just around the corner.

Registration forms may be picked up at the elementary school or middle school offices. Forms are also available at the three dates where they are to be turned in. The forms are for boys ages 7 to 14 and girls ages 8 to 14.
