Noteworthy Community Choir has announced a December 10 performance at 3:00 p.m. of the concert Rise Up, and Follow!

Pirate boys swim team wins season-opening meet; girls finish 2nd

OTTAWA__The Bluffton High School boys swim team dove into its season opener by winning a five-team meet on Thursday, December 7, at the Putnam County YMCA.

Bluffton won the close boys meet by three points over Upper Sandusky, 79-76. Ada finished third with 39 points, followed by Bath (25) and McComb (17).

Leland Willis Voth worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development

Leland Willis Voth, 94, resident of Harrisonburg, Virginia, passed away from this earth to his heavenly home on December 1, 2023. He was born January 27, 1929 to Rev. William C. and Matilda (Kliewer) Voth in the Bethel Deaconess Hospital, Newton, Kansas.

Elijah Bradley Jones was a student at Bluffton High School

Elijah Bradley Jones passed away unexpectedly in peaceful sleep on December 5, 2023 at the age of sixteen. Born on May 29, 2007 to Bradley and Laura Jones, Eli was the cherished star of his family. His presence was a light from the moment he was born, and it shone brightly on all those that knew him. While that light was taken too soon, we will forever hold it in our hearts.
