From July 16-20, English Lutheran Church will host the 2023 Vacation Bible School (VBS). The events will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

VBS is sponsored by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association area churches which include Bluffton Presbyterian Church, Emmanuel Church of Christ, English Lutheran Church, First Mennonite Church, St John’s Church of Christ  and St.  Mary’s Catholic Church.

The theme will be "Twists and Turns: Following Jesus Changes the Game” with the verse from Psalm 25:4 “Make your ways known to me, Lord; teach me your paths.”

Organizers note, "kids will play their way through VBS while learning that Jesus guides them through the ups, downs and zigzags of lives. Most important, kids will encounter the Gospel and learn that sin’s message of 'game over' is overcome through Jesus’ life, death and resurrection."
