What year did you graduate from Bluffton High School?

I graduated in 1996.

Tell use about the first business you launched:

When I graduated from Bluffton University, I along with Jacob Hudson had already started Bluffton Online. My goal in life has always been to being an entrepreneur "a business owner" a server to the community. After I sold Bluffton Online, I decided I first needed to have an experience in the corporate world to get a better understanding of how big business works.

Joseph Sehlhorst Bluffton, has joined Primerica as a representative of the company's products.

Primerica's focus is to help families better understand their personal finances by offering them a Financial Needs Analysis (FNA). According to Sehlhorst, the analysis provides a detailed overview of a family's current financial situation. It suggests a personalized strategy for financial security.

The analysis is complimentary, confidential and customized for every family that Primerica serves, he added.

Baccalaureate services for the Bluffton High School class of 2010 will be held on Sunday evening, May 23, at First Mennonite Church, 101 S. Jackson Street.

The service begins at 7 p.m.

In keeping with the spirit of Pentecost Sunday the theme for the evening gathering will be Following the Spirit. Four different speakers will share on what it means for them to be followers of the Spirit in their lives.

Those sharing will be Dave Fett (parent), Dave Stratton (parent), Steve Lemly (teacher) and Jenny Steinmetz (student).

Rick Skilliter will receive state EMT award May 19

Bluffton police chief Rick Skilliter will be recognized on May 19 in Columbus as the state's EMT-Intermediate of the Year.

The award will be presented during the Ohio EMS Awards ceremony, which is combined with Ohio Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physician's (Ohio ACEP) EMS Star of Life Awards ceremony.

The ceremonies will be held at 9:30 a.m. on May 19, in the ODOT Auditorium at the Ohio Department of Public Safety / Ohio Department of Transportation complex, 1980 W. Broad St., Columbus,
