Angela Catherine Schroeder, 93, passed away February 18, 2024, at the Meadows of Ottawa.

Fruit tree pruning with Jerry Suter on February 25

Do your have a fruit tree but aren't sure how to prune it properly? The Gardeners of the Bluffton/Pandora Area (GBPA) are hosting a hands-on program on fruit tree pruning at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25.

Jerry Suter from Suter Produce, will be showing the proper tools, as well as where to cut and at what angle in a demonstration with the apple tree at the Bluffton Community Garden, 9900 block of S. Main St..

Organizers note that you can bring your tools with you and make some test cuts.

Pirate Grandey named 2nd team All-NWC hoopster; Utendorf HM

The 2023-24 All-Northwest Conference girls basketball teams were voted on Sunday by the league coaches and released by the league office Monday, February 19.

Bluffton junior Ayla Grandey was the top vote-getter on the All-NWC second team.
