BEVS taking applications for 2024-2025 open enrollment

The Bluffton Exempted Village School District is currently accepting applications from students interested in attending the school district through open enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year.

Students from any school district in Ohio may apply and enroll in Bluffton Schools tuition free. Students are admitted on a full-time basis only.

Applications are approved annually on a first come, first served basis and approval is subject to grade level enrollment and educational programs.

Anyone interested in a personal tour, a time can be scheduled that is convenient for you and your family including evenings or weekends. 

Please call the superintendent’s office at 419-358-5901 to schedule a tour or receive an application. In addition, you may obtain an application by visiting the Bluffton Schools website at www.blufftonschools.org/ under the forms link.

Trailer released for Arruza documentary about Bluffton

During the past year and more, journalist and filmmaker Eddie Arruza has focused his lens on the Village of Bluffton, Ohio. A preview of the resulting film--Bluffton: Portraits of an Undying Town--is found on YouTube HERE. Arruza hopes to premier the film in Bluffton in March 2024.

Cucchiara to speak on conflict in the Middle East

Dr. Martina Cucchiara, professor of history at Bluffton University, will present the Forum “100 Years: Illuminating Key Moments in the Conflict Between Israel and Palestine,” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30 in Yoder Recital Hall.
