Catch basin work required in Pandora

Pandora Village Administrator Stan Schneck gave Pandora council an update at its Nov. 23 meeting on catch basin repair required on North Jefferson St.

The village received quote of $2,150 from Ward Construction to replace the catch basin located on the east side of North Jefferson Street. It is on the west side of the Pandora Flooring building.

This quote also includes replacing sidewalk, curb and asphalt pavement.

The minutes from the meeting are in an attachment at the bottom of this story.

P-G spaghetti dinner Jan. 8

A spaghetti dinner is planned in January in Pandora with the proceeds benefiting the Pandora-Gilboa summer sports program.

The dinner is from 4 to 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 8, in the P-GHS cafeteria. Persons may eat in or carry out.

Tickets are available at Ted's Market, First National Bank, Riley Creek Pharmacy or by calling 419-384-3865.

Tickets are $6 each. The meal includes spaghetti, salad, roll, drink and cookie or applesauce.

Bluffton KFC wins State Route 103 decorating contest

Bluffton KFC restaurant, 415 State Route 103, won the State Route 103 business holiday decorating contest sponsored by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce.

This is the second year in a row that KFC won the 103 business contest. The business received a certificate for its award.
