The clock is ticking: Sunday is Mother's Day

A friendly reminder from Town & Country Flowers and the Icon: Sunday, May 14 is Mother's Day. For any shoppers still expecting the Bluffton Arts & Crafts Festival this weekend, that event has been moved to June 3.

I-75 in Hancock County scheduled for night work

Striping work to take place Sunday night into Monday morning.

The following work is anticipated to affect highways in Hancock County this weekend. All outlined work is weather permitting.

Interstate 75, in both directions, between the city of Findlay and the village of Bluffton will have delays in the left (passing) lane overnight Sunday, May 14, into Monday morning, May 15, from approximately 6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. for mobile painting operations.

2023 Beavers baseball season ends with loss to Anderson

KOKOMO, Ind.--The 2023 baseball season came to an end with an 8-5 loss to Anderson University on Friday, May 12, 2023. Bluffton finished up with a mark of 22-18, which tied the school record for wins, and 14-8 in the Heartland Conference. Anderson will continue on in the HCAC Tournament with an 8 p.m. meeting against the winner of Rose-Hulman and Manchester.

BHS Volunteer Club raises funds to aid East Palestine community, plans Bluffton litter pick up

At the start of the 2022-23 school year, Bluffton High School students set out to form a volunteer club as a way to give back and make positive change in the Bluffton community. 

Volunteer Club is a great way for students to work together, gain leadership skills and help others. Members are encouraged to individually seek out opportunities in the community such as Bingo and nail painting with elders at Maple Crest or volunteering at the hospital.

Saturday morning is market time

When is Bluffton at its busiest? From May to October, Saturday morning vies for that honor. That’s when the Bluffton Farmers Market, a program of the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, adds another attraction for those looking to get their shopping done in one big swoop.

Coffee? Check. Baked goods? Check. Flowers for the garden? Check. Something special for lunch? For dinner? Check, check.
