Pandora summer library events

Join the Pandora branch of the Putnam County District Library for the following summer programs:

Lion and Lamb plans focus on university students teaching peace

Bluffton University has announced its plans for continuing programs at the Lion and Lamb Peace Arts Center, which will build on new experiential learning opportunities that connect university students with teaching peace starting in fall 2022.

An advisory committee met in fall 2021 to learn about the Lion and Lamb’s important work and make recommendations about the next steps for the center.

Antique, classic and modern cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors took center stage in downtown Bluffton on Friday, June 17 during the 54th Bluffton Festival of Wheels. There were 190 entries in the show, making it one of the largest events in recent memory.

Sardines win home swim meet vs. Van Wert

With power restored following severe storms that occurred after Monday night's meet, the Bluffton Sardines hosted the Van Wert YMCA Marlins in Western Ohio Aquatics League (WOAL) competition on Thursday, June 16.

The Sardines won the combined event with a score of 929-199 and won the boys and girls meets.

Top Bluffton swimmers with four first place finishes in individual competition were Roman Shank, Camden Verb and Riley Verb. Swimmers with three first place finishes were Madelyn Agner, Ethan Roby and Madelyn Sterret.
