"Ship Breaker," teen book discussion topic on Feb. 24

A teen book discussion will be held at Bluffton Public Library on Thursday, Feb. 24, at 4 p.m.

"We'll be reading the 2011 Michael L. Printz Award winner, 'Ship Breaker,' by Paolo Bacigalupi," said Youth Services Coordinator Rikki Steingass. "The Printz Award is given to the best young adult book of the year." The book discussion will be held in the Youth Activity Room at the library. Snacks will be provided.

Stephen Fischbach 1957-2011

Stephen E. "Steve" Fischbach, 53, of Bluffton died at 5:23 a.m. on Feb. 6, 2011, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born in Lima on Dec. 21, 1957 to James and Mary Rita Hageman Fischbach and they survive in Pandora.

Nancy Jean (Eichenbary) Grubb 1943-2011

Nancy Eichenbary Grubb

Nancy Jean (Eichenbary) Grubb, 67, of McComb died Sunday Feb. 6, 2011, 3:50 p.m. at the Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, following a brief illness.

She was born April 8, 1943 in Bluffton to Paul and Mary Jane (Pratt) Eichenbary. Her mother survives in Pandora. On Aug. 4, 1961 she married Norman L. Grubb and he died Jan. 22, 2003.

Surviving are two sons Norman (Shelly) Grubb of McComb; Bill (Katie) Grubb of McComb; and a daughter Kim Louviaux of McComb.
