Scoles selected for OSBA school board member award

Bluffton School Board member Jeremy Scoles is the recipient of the 2022 OSBA Aptitude Award, a distinction conferred by the Ohio School Boards Association.

He is one of 38 board members selected for this award, out of 3,400 board members in Ohio. The Aptitude Award is part of the association’s STAR Awards Program, which emphasize Service, Training, Aptitude and Recognition.

P-G football beats Hornets, qualifies for playoffs

The Pandora-Gilboa High School football team was in complete control from the get-go in their season finale, Friday evening October 21.

Diary of Anne Frank on stage Nov. 10-13

Ticket sales are open for "The Diary of Anne Frank" at Bluffton University's Ramseyer Auditorium-College Hall.

Opening night will be Thursday, Nov. 10 and continue until Sunday, Nov 13. Tickets are  $6.00-$8.00 and free for Bluffton University students with a passcode.

P-G Veterans' Day Banquet invitation

Veterans living in the Pandora-Gilboa School District are invited to the Annual Veterans’ Day Banquet
at the Pandora United Methodist Church, 108 E. Washington St. on Rt. 12.

The event takes place at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 10 in the church fellowship hall. The dinner and short program are sponsored by the Pandora United Methodist Rebecca Circle.

Ellen Mae Beach worked for the Village of Bluffton

Ellen Mae Beach, 83, passed away October 20, 2022 at Lima Memorial Health System.  Ellen was born August 5, 1939 in Fostoria to the late Gerald and Grace (Schupp) Heinze.  On April 2, 1960 she married Raleigh L. Beach who preceded her in death on February 17, 2005.
