BPL helps ease finals week with "De-stress with a Dog"

Throughout Bluffton University finals week, Pet Partners will be bringing therapy dogs to the Bluffton Public Library. During program hours, students can take a break from studies or finals to chill out with a furry friend. The dogs are available for everyone. 

Therapy dogs will be at the library from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on December 11-13. The dogs Bailey, Max, and Leo will be at the library on Monday, December 11, with Stella and Sam on Tuesday, December 12. Bailey, Stella, and Sam will return on Wednesday, December 13.

Fertilizer applicator certification class in January

ALLEN COUNTY__A fertilizer applicator certification training class is being held in Allen County on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the Allen County Fairgrounds Youth Activities Building in Lima. The class will run from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The cost of the class is $30.

2024 spring youth soccer registration is open

Registration is now open for spring youth soccer with the Bluffton Soccer Club (Ohio) HERE.

To register a child, you will need to log in or create an account and upload a birth certificate. Volunteer coaches will need to upload an picture of themselves.

For the Fall 2023 youth soccer season, the league included:

  • 234 Players in travel and rec soccer programs
  • 46 Volunteer coaches
  • 5 Field lining volunteers
  • 11 Volunteer board members

Historical society business meeting and vintage Christmas cards program

The December meeting of the Bluffton Ohio Historical Society will take place on Wednesday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m. in Bluffton Town Hall, 3rd Floor.

Several items will be discussed including: potential designs for a Society logo, a fundraising campaign and gaining public prominence in the local community.
