PHOTO Bluffton chamber welcomes Niese Tire & Service Center

Friday, March 8 was a busy day for Niese Tire & Service Center with ribbon cutting ceremonies at its new Bluffton and Ada locations. Owner Kyle Niese has expanded his Ottawa based business to include a 319 N. Main Bluffton location that opened in January 2024 and a 3032 State Route 309, Ada location that is now taking appointments.

“No School Day Camps” at Bluffton Family YMCA

Bluffton Family YMCA is offering day camps this spring on March 29, April 1, and April 8. Registration for all camps is due one week before their start date. 

Athletic Boosters host Reverse Raffle Ticket Pick Up Party

The Bluffton Athletic Boosters is holding a Reverse Raffle Ticket Pick Up Party  from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday night, March 15 at Southgate Lanes, 9700 N Dixie Hwy. 

This event is open to the public as well as for all Reverse Raffle ticket holders. 

Organizers note, “It’s a great way to come and support the Bluffton Athletic Boosters along with picking up your ticket for the annual Reverse Raffle which will be held in May.

Bluffton University alumni emails end March 21

Do you send email to friends or family who have a Bluffton.edu alumni address? It's time to update their contact information.

Due to increasing security concerns and to keep student data safe, Bluffton University is no longer able to offer an “email for life” to its alumni community. The following announcement was made on Facebook:

"Alumni accounts will expire March 21, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding that our top priority is to protect personal information Bluffton maintains on behalf of our students, faculty and staff.

2023 Crop Values Summary

The preliminary farm value of Ohio field crops produced in 2023 was $7.32 billion, down 13 percent from 2022. The fall in total value in Ohio was due to lower prices of corn and soybeans.
