Hospital construction involves lots of steel and cranes this week

This is a busy week for the construction schedule at Bluffton Hospital.
The construction site will be receiving three truck loads of steel, which will be offloaded inside the fenced work area.

Steel workers will use this steel to begin erecting, by means of a crane, the structural framing of the two-story addition, which includes the new Emergency Department.

By mid-week, the roofers will begin to apply a finished roof to the new operating room area located on the corner of Garau Street and Harmon Road. This process will take approximately a week to complete.
