Five Bluffton businesswomen shared the podium and their thoughts about being a business owner in a small town during Friday’s chamber breakfast.

The five included a barber, dress consignment shop owner, online fabric business owner, funeral director and sports apparel shop owner.  The moderator owns a promotional products business.

MARCH ELEMENTARY NEWSLETTER

Bluffton elementary is a busy place in March. Here are some of the events underway. Attached is the March elementary newsletter, that provides additional details.

TESTING DAYS:  Students in grades 3-5 take Ohio English Language Arts tests on March 30- 31.  They take Ohio Math tests on April 20- 21.  Fourth grade students take Ohio Social Studies tests on April 27- 28.  Fifth grade students take Ohio Science tests on April 27- 28. 

Games played from April 2 to 23

Bluffton Family Recreation announces that Session IV indoor adult soccer registration is underway.

League play is from Sunday, April 2, to Sunday, April 23, and each team will play a total of four games. All games are played at BFR.

For riders in the July 8 Ride to Remember

Bluffton businesses have an opportunity to introduce themselves to participants in this summer’s Ride to Remember bicycle ride, planned here on Saturday, July 8.

Ride planners invite businesses to provide gift items to fill 200 “cinch packs” for registered riders.

Suggested examples include:
• Coupons for use in your business
• Useful items for bike riders
• Treats
• Make certain your business name is on the donated items
