Several Bluffton churches observed the day on March 1 with the marking of ashes in the form of a cross on the observant's forehead. Here, Rev. Kevin Mohr, pastor of English Lutheran, place ashes on Teddy Stratton. With him are parents, Jeff and Leisa, and sisters, Caroline and Katie Jo. (Connie Maroscher photo)
