Each year for the last six years, the Bluffton University baseball team has raised donations to shave their heads as a fundraiser for the Vs. Cancer Foundation.

Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs invites the community to meet this year’s Ropp Triplett Business Competition contestants and have some free dessert, thanks for local caterers.
The family-friendly event is from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall, 154 N. Main St.
During the evening BCE will announce the winners of this year’s business plan competition. It has two divisions: Emerging Area Businesses, and Established Bluffton Businesses.
The AARP Tax Assistance at the Bluffton Senior Center does not have any more appointment times available for 2017, according to Tonya Meyer, Center director.
Bluffton High School will honor 97 students at the 18th annual Academic Letter Banquet on Tuesday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the Middle School Cafetorium. Sophomores, juniors and seniors who have a 3.50 GPA and higher will be honored.
March roared in like a lion in the early morning hours of March 1. High winds toppled a pine tree on the Presbyterian church lawn. It also took down the First National Bank sign and knocked over trees around town.
