The Icon reports several viewers have sighted a ring-neck pheasant in the downtown Bluffton area.

Tonya Meyers showed us the proof. Here's a photo of the downtown mascot behind Webb Insurance.

 

 

Eariler this spring the Icon photographed this student from the Bluffton Community Preschool. It appears to be in interesting science experiment in process.

The Pandora United Methodist Church will be hosting a free Community Meal on Wednesday, April 29 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora. The meal this month is provided by Wednesday Witness Group. The menu will be sausage (hot dogs for kids) sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, roll, jello salad, dessert and beverage.

How do you mix several flavors into many buckets of popcorn?

You ask ONU mechanical engineering students to invent a process that will save time and money and results in less waste.

As a senior capstone project, four students took on the challenge last fall at the request of Pete Suter, the owner of Shirley's Popcorn in Bluffton.

They designed and built a system for measuring and dispensing the ingredients into small packages which are sealed for use on demand.
