The opening line from the Denver Post feature reads: "It would take a major catastrophe for Broncos rookie Zac Dysert to play in Super Bowl XLVIII against the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday."

You know it, and he knows it.

But that doesn't mean the 23-year-old quarterback from Miami (Ohio) hasn't enjoyed every moment of his ride to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Sure, he didn't take a snap during the regular season, and even his preseason playing time was sparse — 12-of-23 passing for 179 yards and one touchdown.

Bluffton's first-ever Cash Mob was a success. A continual stream of customers made purchases at The Dough Hook during a two-hour stretch on Wednesday afternoon. Over 35 persons entered a drawing for a $25 shopping spree at the business. Doug Smith of Kibler Street was the shopping spree winner. The event, sponsored by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will take place once each month this year in an effort to promote shopping locally.

Ruth Ann (von Stein) Bormuth, 90, of Rawson died at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014 at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center, Arlington. She was born on April 2, 1923, to the late Ivan and Maude (Marquart) von Stein, Sr. in Eagle Twp., Hancock County. She married Herbert John Bormuth on Jan. 11, 1942, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 2013.

Several Icon viewers have sent us photos similiar to this one taken by Garry Crawford. In his message to us he states: "Mother nature rolled this on the golf course." Dawn King also sent photos. She calls these "snow rollers" and adds that they are more common in hilly areas, but the precise nature of the conditions required makes them a very rare phenomenon."

Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce wants get you out of the house to do some shopping locally - on Wednesday.

Focusing on the hours of 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., perhaps the warmest part of the day, Bluffton holds its first-ever "cash mob." Although it's not a cash mob in the traditional big city sense, it will offers an interesting assortment of specials in several downtown businesses. It is the chamber's plan to offer one cash mob per month in 2014.
