Paul M. King of Bluffton, died on Feb. 13, 2013, in Fort Myers Beach, Fla.
He was born to Jay and Lulu King on April 17, 1929, in Ohio. He served in the Air Force and was stationed in Denver, Colo., and Anchorage, Ak. He graduated from Bluffton College with a degree in business. He met his wife, Lois (Marquart), at Bluffton and they had three children.
He was an agent and district manager for Nationwide Insurance and later became director of development at Bluffton University.
Justin Romine grew up in church and Sunday school knowing “all the right answers,” he told a Bluffton University audience Nov. 12. He was also “the kid who hated prayer,” he recalled. “I was very impatient with it.”

The Bluffton University men's basketball team rode a 47-27 first half to a season-opening victory over Knox College on Friday, Nov. 15. The Beavers kicked off the Illinois College Tip-Off Tournament with a convincing 86-65 win thanks to a dominating 54-22 edge on points in the paint.
Bluffton’s next American Red Cross blood drive is Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Bluffton High School new gymnasium, located at 106 W. College Ave. in Bluffton.
