Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn Co. has two flavors of the month in July, according to Pete Suter. The flavors are "Spicy Jalapeno," and "Berry Cherry."
Suter said this about Spicy Jalapeno: "Find a beach and grab a cold drink before you open your next tin or bag of this popular July flavor. The touch of our classic cheddar creates a smooth entry before the spice of the jalapeno explodes in your mouth. Come to think of it, you probably ought to grab two drinks before you sit down with this one."
Members of the cast of “Driving Miss Daisy,” which was performed in Bluffton this winter, were recognized earlier this month at the Northwest Regional Ohio Community Theatre Association Festival.
On June 8 the cast and crew of Van Wert Civic Theatre’s 2012 production of “Driving Miss Daisy” was one of 12 theatre ensembles from northwest Ohio to showcase an excerpt from their production at the Festival held in Fort Jennings.
This excerpt was chosen as an alternate to present at the State OCTA Festival to be held in September.

According to Pandora weather observer Guy Verhoff the first twenty-four days in June included 11 days over 80 degrees (F) with two of those days above 90 degrees (F). The lowest temperature was recorded on June 4 with the overnight low at 45 degrees.
