Christmas holiday official over - Ream display comes down
It was fun while it lasted. The 2009 Bluffton holiday season. Launched with the Blaze of Lights and one of the largest parades ever to grace Main Street, it offered some great holiday lights and more.
It's over on Jan. 9. That's when the Bluffton Cultural Affairs Committee's team of loyal volunteers remove the Ream folk art display from the Bluffton Presbyterian Church lawn.
The one remaining piece from the holidays is the Main Street garlands. According to Jon Kinn, Bluffton fire chief, those will be taken down on Saturday, Jan. 16. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Comnmerce will soon be sending invoices to businesses for the hanging and removal of the garlands.
