Jenna Buroker, Lindsey Sneary, Mary Woodruff, Abbey Rieman named students of the month
Four senior girls have been recognized by Bluffton High School as students of the month for October, November, December and January.
October
Jenna Buroker is October's student of the month. She is a member of Art Club, Show Choir, National Honor Society, Northwest Conference Sportsmanship Committee and Bible study. She has participated in volleyball at BHS. She maintains a 3.935 grade point average.
Jenna was named the to the second team NWC for volleyball as a junior and a senior. As a sophomore she was named the top student in history class. She received the Pirate Award during her junior and senior years on the volleyball team. She was also named best on defense on volleyball as a sophomore, junior and senior. She had taken several post-secondary courses.
She is the daughter of Darrell and Rhonda Buroker, 301 S. Main St.
November
Lindsey Sneary is November's student of the month. She is a member of Latin Club, Art Club, Math Club, Orchestra, Concert Choir, National Honor Society, youth group, Praise Team, Flag Corp and Ocean Focus. She maintains a 4.0 grade point average.
She played basketball as a freshman. She has received class awards in Biology, Geometry, Latin III and Advanced Math. She has taken several post-secondary courses. She may attend either Ohio Northern University or the University of Cincinnati.
She is the daughter of Dan and Cyndee Sneary of Bluffton.
December
Mary Woodruff is December's student of the month. She is a member of Student Senate, Yearbook, Jazz and Pep Band, Strings, SADD Club, Math Club, Drama Club, S.O.S., Renaissance Committee, Lima Area Youth Orchestra where she is principal cello and Northwest Regional Orchestra.
She has obtained several superior ratings in music solo and ensemble contests. She plans on attending Brigham Young University. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. She maintains a 3.806 grade point average.
Mary is the daughter of David and Margie Woodruff, 10000 Columbus Grove Road.
January
Abbey Rieman is January's student of the month. She is a member of Latin Club, SADD, and SNLY Youth Group. She was named best in class in Ninth Grade Science, World History, Latin II, English 10, and English 11. She received academic letters as a sophomore and junior.
She has taken several post-secondary courses. She plans to attend the University of Findlay. She maintains a 4.0 grade point average.
Abbey is the daughter of Robert and Louise Rieman, 7805 Rockport Road.
