Ina Ewing 1920-2010
Ina M. Ewing, 89, Pandora, Ohio, died at 8:03 p.m., Jan. 21, 2010, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born Aug. 6, 1920, to Ralph and Ethel (Pacey) Cherry in Pandora. In 1940 she married Marcus Moser and he died in 1971. She married Cliff Stewart in 1971 and he died in 1972. She married Stanley Ewing in 1976 and he died in 1994.
She was a homemakier and worked in the cafeteria at RCA and Whirlpool, Findlay, She was a member of St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora. She was also a member of the Putnam County Farm Bureau.
She is survived by a son Ron (Cheryl) Moser, Lima; two daughters, Donna (Jim) Sheeks, Continental and Jean Parker, Findlay; two step daughters, Jane Ewing, Findlay and Kay Ewing, Findlay.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a sister, Inez Moser, Findlay. She was preceeded in death by brothers, William "Skip" Cherry and Wayne Cherry.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 25, at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Rev. Terry Porter will officiate. Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Burial is at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pandora. Memorials may be made to St. John Mennonite Church.
