Summer specials that fit everyone's budget begin soon at BFR
BFR has a summer membership special to fit most Icon viewers through Aug. 31, according to Carole Enneking, director.
The summer membership includes four months of individual membership benefits for the price of the 3-month membership. This special is available to those 14 years of age and older. Included with this membership is access to the fitness center, indoor track, discounts on fitness class fees, access to open recreation hours and free workout services from a BFR trainer. Cost of the membership special is $87.86.
BFR will offer extra personal training sessions during the summer months. For each six-session package purchased, the customer will receive two additional sessions for free. Each 30-minute training session will be designed and led by a BFR staff trainer. Training sessions can be scheduled during the day or evening hours.
New or returning exercisers at any fitness level can use personal training sessions. Cost for the Summer Training Special is $60 or $30 (BFR members). The Training Special will be available for purchase until Aug. 31.
Jessica Ladd, Wellness Coordinator, directs the BFR training staff. She
holds a bachelor's degree in Strength and Conditioning from University of Findlay and is a certified personal trainer. She coordinates the Silver
Sneakers fitness program, as well as serving as contact point for
corporate and community wellness programming.
Keri Hilty holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Cedarville University and has an extensive coaching and training background.
Britny Tuttle is completing her degree work at University of Findlay with courses in Physical Therapy, Strength and Conditioning, and Personal Training.

BFR is a private, non-profit organization supported by United Way funding. BFR offers group fitness classes, youth sport classes and leagues, adult recreational programming as well as offering memberships to the fitness center.
