Sarah Diller in March 4 recital
Bluffton University students Sarah Diller (Bluffton), soprano, and Brandon Fullenkamp (Wapakoneta), piano, will perform a junior recital at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 4, in Yoder Recital Hall. The performance is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in the lobby.
A voice student of Dr. Crystal Sellers, Diller will perform vocal selections including Quia respexit by Johann Sebastian Bach, Domine Deus from Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi, Stepsister's Lament from Cinderella by Richard Rodgers and He Loves and She Loves from Funny Face by George Gershwin. Diller will be accompanied by Allison Ringold on piano.
Fullenkamp, a piano student of Dr. Lucia Unrau, will perform piano selections including Ballade in G Minor by Frederic Chopin (in honor of Chopin's 200th birthday), Sonata in E Minor, Hob. XVI/34 by Joseph Haydn and Postlude from Winterreigen, Op. 13 by Erno Dochnanyi.
Together Diller, voice, and Fullenkamp, piano, will perform Dreaming by Lori Laitman. The recital is presented in partial fulfillment of requirements for graduation with a major in music at Bluffton University.
