Lease agreement with railroad could lead to bike-walking path to SR 103 restaurant area
In a relatively light agenda, Bluffton council meets Nov. 26 with two ordinances to consider.
The first ordinance under consideration involves a lease agreement between the Norfolk Southern Railroad and the village. The village is considering a lease with the railroad, which could provide for a biking and walking path from the County Line Road to the restaurant area along State Route 103.
More details on the path will follow on The Icon.
The second is a zoning change. Deanna and Donnie Essinger are requesting a rezoining of their property on Harmon Road from Residential I to Residential II. The Bluffton Village Planning Commission is recommending the rezoning.
