Ticket Reservation deadline Feb. 19 for Transport For Christ annual banquet
Transport for Christ (TFC) will host its annual banquet Friday, Feb. 22, 6 p.m., at Marbeck Center, Bluffton University.
The meal is paid, but reservations are necessary by Feb. 19. Contact Dave Lugibihl, by email: [email protected] or by phone: 419-230-3294 or Nancy Spallinger, by email: [email protected] or by phone: 419-296-0360 to make reservations, or to make a donation. Seating is available for only 400 persons.
"Come and learn how the TFC ministry changes lives and reaches out to the truck driving community. After a time of food and fellowship, attendees will get to hear a TFC ministry update, testimonies from on-the-road truck drivers, and southern gospel group, The Pfeifers," said Luugibihl.
The Pfeifers combine three-part harmony with trumpet, saxes and guitar. The Pfeifers have been seen on The 700 Club, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Daystar, Gaither Homecoming Series and have performed at the Mickey Gilley Theatre in Branson, Missouri, Bailey Smith Crusades and aboard the annual Charles Stanley cruise to Alaska.
In 2008 and 2009, they were received Favorite Trio Top 10 Nominations by subscribers of Singing News Magazine, Southern Gospel Music’s leading fan publication.
TFC is a world-wide ministry with the mission of leading truck drivers as well as the trucking community to Jesus Christ and helping them to grow in their faith. Volunteers from area churches serve as chaplains to visit, encourage, and lead services to truckers that visit the chapel.

Locally, the Second Chance Mobile Chapel resides on the grounds of Pilot Travel Center in Beaverdam, located on I-75 and 30N, Exit 13. The chapel was dedicated on October 5th, 2008.
