Two university interns this spring at BCE
Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs has two Bluffton University student interns this spring, according to Denise Durenberger, BCE director and assistant professor of business at Bluffton University.
The students are Antwon Brooks of Cleveland, and Meg Leatherman of Hesston, Kansas.
Brooks, a senior, will graduate in May with an Accounting and Business Administration degree and a Finance concentration. He played football at Bluffton University four years and track one year. On campus, he is employed by the university food service. He also interns as a student aide during his vacations for the Central Collection Agency for Downtown Cleveland.
Leatherman, a junior from Hesston, Kansas, holds an Associates of Arts degree from Hesston College. From August 2011 to August 2012 she worked in Denver, Colorado, with the DOOR program as a full-time volunteer. While at DOOR she was a Program Assistant with Metro CareRing, a hunger relief organization, which focuses on providing high-quality food and service to persons in need. She will graduate in May 2014 with a Business Administration degree and a minor in Graphic Design. She participated in cross country this fall, is a resident assistant in Ramseyer Hall and is a member of Camerata, the select choir on campus.
Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs (BCE) is a not-for-profit business incubator. It offers support services and professional guidance to entrepreneurs and small businesses in Allen, Hancock, Hardin and Putnam counties.
It is housed on the Bluffton University campus and is a collaborative effort with the local business community, village of Bluffton and Bluffton University.
