Community Halloween Party Oct. 20 at BFR Sports and Fitness
Get your costume ready. BFR Sports and Fitness, 215 Snider Road, Bluffton, will hold a family-oriented community Halloween party from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, according to Maranda P. Miller of BFR.
"This is a family event and no scary costumes are allowed," said Miller.
The event will include crafts and games from 2 to 3 p.m. and a costume contest at 3 p.m. Costume contest categories follow:
• Family/teen category
• Age group 0 to 3
• Age group 4 to 6
• Age group 7 to 10
• Age group 11 +
BFR is currently seeking donations for area businesses for the event. There are several options:
• Donation 1 - your company/business donates pries or candy for booths
• Donation 2 - your company/business sets up and provides prizes for your choice of booth (BFR has ideas and materials)
• Donation 3 - your company/business provides the cookies and/or drink for snack table.
All donors participating will be able to display their businesss logos during the free community event. Recognition will to to all who volunteer or donate.
The deadline to be a donor is Monday, Oct. 14. Contact Miller at BFR for more information at 419-258-4150.
